Dave brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in operations, sales, marketing, product management, business management and strategic planning from several Fortune 500 chemical companies. Dave joined Carus in May 2013, as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was promoted to President in 2014 and Chief Executive Officer in 2016. Prior to joining Carus, Dave served as Vice President, Refinery Catalyst for Albemarle Corporation, responsible for managing and growing profit/loss of their global Clean Fuels Technologies business segment. Prior to that, he served as Vice President/Managing Director for Albemarle's European Region, directing all activities from their Brussels headquarters. Dave is a member of the American Chemistry Council. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Akron.
With over 25 years of experience in progressive financial roles, Sue brings broad expertise as a strong financial partner in both large public companies and middle market private companies. Sue joined Carus Corporation in June 2012 as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, and was soon promoted to Vice President, Finance before achieving her current title in April 2013. Before joining Carus, Sue worked for Nalco Company as Director of Business Support, Assistant Controller, Assistant Treasurer, and Vice President Finance and Business Operation. She also previously worked for Duchossois Industries and Navistar Financial Corporation. She is a member of the Chicago Finance Exchange and the Senior Executives Network. Sue holds a Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business/Finance from Elmhurst College.
Yulia has built her career on her ability to lead organizations to greater efficiency, productivity, employee engagement, and profitability through effective human resource management. Yulia joined Carus Group in June 2016. She brings extensive experience in international business, mergers and acquisitions, and company culture change management. Prior to joining Carus, Yulia served as Senior Human Resources Director for Ingersoll-Rand, following that company’s acquisition of Cameron International, for which she served as Global Senior Human Resources Director. She has also held leadership roles at Baker Hughes and Centrilift, and founded a business and HR consulting firm. Among the professional certifications she holds are Senior Professional Human Resources and Six Sigma Black Belt. Yulia earned a Master of Science in Human Resources Development from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of the Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Azerbaijan State University.
Richard holds more than 30 years of leadership experience in manufacturing. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Projects and Operations at Ingersoll Rand, a position he also held at Cameron International until his division was acquired by Ingersoll Rand in 2014. Kuehler spent 25 years at Cameron International, serving in a variety of leadership roles both in the United States and abroad. He established and led start-ups in Asia and the Middle East, first as General Manager, Asia Pacific, and later as General Manager, Middle East, and General Manager, China. Other prominent roles Kuehler held at Cameron include Director, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Director of Shared Services, responsible for the company’s global supply chain and environmental compliance. Kuehler is a graduate of Claremont University, where he received his Masters of Business Administration. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from The University of Houston.
Marie brings extensive experience in growing global businesses through customer focus, technical expertise, and leadership in management of multiple functions and multi-cultural teams to the organization. Marie joined Carus Corporation in 2001 as Market Research and Development Manager. In 2007, she was named Vice President International and Managing Director of Carus Europe. She was later promoted to the position of Vice President, Corporate Development, responsible for mergers and acquisitions. Marie assumed her current role in 2014. Prior to joining Carus, Marie worked for SNPE, Paris, France where she was Global Market Manager for Fine Chemicals after having held several positions in Sales and Marketing. Marie holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris, and a Master of Business Administration from CESMA Ecole de Management de Lyon.
Greg has more than 30 years of legal experience, working extensively as a senior business, litigation, and labor lawyer both in-house and in private practice. Prior to joining Carus Group in 2014, Greg served as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel for Robert Bosch LLC, where he managed the legal activities of six affiliate companies including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, negotiating major transactions, mergers and acquisitions, litigation and labor and employment issues. He previously served as Managing Counsel for Dow Corning Corporation. Greg is a member of the Illinois and Michigan Bar Associations, the Association of Corporate Counsel, and also served as a member of the Illinois Bar Association Corporate Law Departments Section Council. Greg also belongs to the International Association of Defense Counsel and Defense Research Institute, he is a frequent speaker at legal seminars, and he serves as Vice Chair of the IADC Technology Committee. Greg completed his undergraduate studies at DePaul University, where he is a member College of Liberal Arts Dean’s Advisory Committee, and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he serves as a member of the Law School Alumni Board of Directors.
